Students promote only when they are ready; minimum required time
is 3 months for teenagers and adults, and 4 months for little
dragons and children.
Following is the progression of belt levels in
the color belt system:

10th Kup - White Belt
- 9th Kup - Orange
- 8th Kup - Yellow
- 7th Kup - High Yellow (Yellow w/ Black Stripe)
- 6th Kup - Green
- 5th Kup - High Green (Green w/ Black Stripe)
- 4th Kup - Blue
- 3rd Kup - High Blue (Blue w/ Black Stripe)
- 2nd Kup - Red

After 'Black Belt Candidate' rank has been
achieved, students have a chance to promote to 1st degree Black
Belt. Students will promote to Black Belt rank only when
Masters Ralph and Maria feel they are ready. Students must
demonstrate their preparedness during class sessions both
physically and mentally.
Each promotion will consist of a demonstration
of various techniques practiced in class. Students will also
have to show their proficiency in self-defense, board breaking,
sparring, and forms.
